Family-run business with many years of experience

We have a great deal of heart and soul for our guests

More than 50 years ago my parents called their pretty small but very cosy "Aurora" back then after the goddess of dawn. Perhaps it was the goddess who woke them up early every morning. Or perhaps it was the pleasant anticipation of their guests. They always enjoyed being the hosts and organising holidays to be beautiful and unforgettable. I was brought up with this enjoyment.

A communal shower and a whole load of family pride

Over the many years the "Aurora" has developed from a small bed and breakfast with 8 rooms with a communal shower (!) into a 4-star hotel with 24 rooms. We work closely together, the Aurora and I. And we constantly have new dreams that we want to make come true together. Dreams that we also share with my family. For example, with my daughter Maria who takes care of reception and marketing and supplies the Aurora website with her wonderful, detailed photos of Lech and the surrounding area time and time again. Or with my daughter Anna-Katharina who manages the Braunarl residence with lots of skill and warmth. That makes me proud. And the goddess too.

It's people who enrich us most

It's a real pleasure to be able to be at home here as the hostess. Not just because Lech and its Omeshorn is one of the most beautiful spots on earth that I know. Not just because my family support me and our neighbours are our best friends. It's the people from all over the world that I meet and get to know here. The exciting stories, the friendliness and energy that they bring with them and the fun that we have with each other is what makes my job so precious and meaningful.

Come and visit us soon and send us your enquiry now for your unforgettable holiday in Lech am Arlberg. I'm really looking forward to seeing you, your Diana Muxel.
