Jazz Amidst the Mountains and Summer Evenings

The festival opens with the Austrian trio Tres Caballeros, whose refined interplay and effortless improvisation blur the lines between tradition and contemporary jazz. Highlights continue with a special screening of Clint Eastwood's award-winning jazz film "Bird", followed by the acclaimed Paul Cornish Trio. The young Blue Note pianist is regarded as one of the most exciting voices on today's international jazz scene. The virtuosic Isfar Sarabski Trio brings together jazz and the rich musical traditions of Azerbaijan, before Elina Duni closes the festival with her unmistakable voice and poetic soundscapes – a performance that resonates long after the final note.

New this year, the Before & After Concert Bar invites guests to begin the evening in a relaxed atmosphere before the concerts or linger afterwards over a drink and good music – a place to meet, connect and embrace the spirit of the festival.

Jazzbühne Lech combines outstanding musical artistry with the tranquillity of the alpine landscape. After a day spent exploring the mountains, there is no finer way to end the evening than with exceptional musicians from around the world. Sometimes, that is all it takes to experience summer in Lech at its very best.
