Forest swimming pool by the Lech river

Nestled in nature and directly by the crystal-clear Lech river, the forest swimming pool offers a refreshing summer experience. With a heated sports pool, a children’s area, a large sunbathing lawn, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, it’s the perfect place to while away the hours on warm days.

The White Ring

The White Ring is one of the most legendary ski circuits in the Alps – a classic for winter sports enthusiasts. The circuit connects Lech, Zürs, Zug, and Oberlech and offers spectacular panoramas, a varied range of runs, and sporting challenges. Skiing the White Ring lets you experience Mount Arlberg at its most impressive.

The Green Ring

The Green Ring is summer’s answer to the White Ring – an idyllic hiking trail full of stories and installations. Over several stages, you’ll discover art, viewpoints, and mystical details that are based on the region’s myths and legends. Ideal for anyone who wants to combine nature, culture, and a touch of magic.

sport.park.lech

sport.park.lech is a versatile indoor meeting place with something for the whole family. Climbing, bowling, fitness, ball sports, trampolining, yoga, and more: whatever the weather, active guests will find a wide range of options here for working up a good sweat or trying something new. Perfect for rainy days and for anyone who loves variety.

Huber-Hus Museum

The Huber-Hus – a lovingly preserved “Walser” house from the 16th century – tells the story of Lech in an especially authentic way. In its parlours, you can immerse yourself in the daily life of bygone days, and the small museum also tells you all about the culture, craftsmanship, and lives of the Walser settlers. A charming, peaceful window into the past.

Zugertal valley

The idyllic Zugertal valley is one of the most beautiful spots in the region. It boasts two impressive mountain lakes: Lake Formarinsee was named the most beautiful place in Austria – and is also the starting point of the award-winning Lechweg path. Lake Spullersee captivates with its tranquil, almost mystical atmosphere.

Lake Körbersee

Lake Körbersee has also been named the “most beautiful place in Austria” – and it’s well deserved. The picturesque lake is nestled in a gentle mountain landscape and is a wonderful destination for day trips, with numerous hiking opportunities in the area. Ideal for a relaxing day in nature.

Lechweg path

The Lechweg path is one of the most famous long-distance hiking trails in the Alps and starts directly at Lake Formarinsee in the Zugertal valley. It follows the course of the Lech river for around 125 kilometres, as far as Füssen. From Lech, three stages can be wonderfully combined – perfect for anyone looking for an introduction to this special hiking experience or who wants to enjoy individual sections.

Fly fishing on the Lech river

The Lech river is a paradise for fly-fishing fans. Crystal-clear water, pristine banks, and an abundance of fish make this wild river one of the best fishing areas in the Alps. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a beginner without a fishing licence – anyone looking for peace and quiet by the water will enjoy special moments here amidst untamed nature. Day passes are available from the tourist office.
